I don't know if it is true or not but I still bet she stays in the VP slot if it is true!
It will be "god forgave me" and "we have a family to raise" and I guarantee the GOP will keep her.

2. I agree...but it does contribute to a narrative about a life that is completely out of control |
|
Reckless choice, reckless life, stay away.

4. it will be "no it didn't happen" |
|
It will be the word of her estranged ex brother in law's family vs. hers and she'll deny it and question his credibility, which will help her out on troopergate as well.
Mark my words.

7. The only way they get any real play on the affair |
|
is if the Enquirer got the guy who cuckolded Todd Palin on the record.
Then she has no choice but to answer.
If they get him on the record claiming Trig is his, it blows up.
Otherwise, it's a "meh" story.

13. a major problem if he replaces her is anyone new will look |
|
SO much better by comparison - and they'll blame the media for her leaving. But I still think whatever happens McCain will lose and lose bad. He's a fucking angry idiot.

14. Yeah, when the NE exposes Sarah's paramour |
|
McCain will be rushing to the airport to greet him with a big hug and sloppy kiss. Welcome to the fold!

5. Then we need to expose that hipocrisy |
|
That would be where I would make sure to show a distinction between us and them.

9. It's not the affair (but it IS) but the lying about it. |
|
and you know that she did when she filled out the 70 questions that McCain's vetting team presented to her.

11. Even if "her base" is satisfied with her explanation, |
|
there will be a portion of actual moral people out there for whom this will be an issue. Think about it... a lot of disaffected republicans have jumped ship because of scandal after scandal causing them to lose respect for their party. So even if the hardcore wingnuts stand by her, every new scandal that comes out WILL be someone's "last straw."
