Something You Don't Know About Joe Biden - And Should

After the 1988 presidential race, Joe was up for re-election in 1990.

The Republicans put up Jane Brady.

Watching Palin last night, I'd swear that she was cloned from from leftover cells of Jane Brady.

Brady's campaign was intensely negative. She sent every voter in Delaware a free VHS videotape (this was before DVD's were big) which consisted of a twenty minute tirade wrapped around the Kinnock moment, and the same shopworn negatives that get trotted out and dismissed nearly every single time he's run.

Delaware voters have, quite literally, seen this movie before.

He won the election 63% to 36%.

Joe ran this race, with these dynamics, 18 years ago. He knows precisely what he's doing.

I can't believe Brady wasted all that money to send VHS tapes to all the voters. Really a bad gamble.
