NY DU'ers, are you surprised Ed Koch sold out?
I knew of him as sort of a jerk, but I never thought he'd sell out. Are you guys surprised how low he's sunk?. I know Israel is the issue, but what the hell has Bush done for Israel in the last four years? As far as I'm concerned, Koch is lower than plant life.

1. What he says is even more astonding
He indicated he is against every domestic issue that this administration stands for, but is still voting for him

Remember what Franklin said, Those who give up liberty for saftey deserve never liberty or saftey

Something like that

There was a time when he actually made some sense. No more.

3. bigtime
I agree. Most people don't know that Bush has turned his back on Israel bigtime. Now that we have Iraq we don't need them anymore (in his eyes). I think this is just politics to justify turning his back, in my opinion.

4. It's the ultimate Political Oxymoron.
"Yes I am a democratic leader who will be supporting a republican president who I disagree with on every believeable domestic issue, because I think he's the right man for the job." :eyes:

6. Wasn't Ed Koch a Republican when he was mayor?
Should we be surprised he is so Bush even if he has sided with us in the past?

9. No surprise. I believe Koch voted for Reagan too.
Not exactly a party loyalist.
