Senator Obama slams Mccain hard!!
This might be a repost but it is still incredible from CNN:

Obama: These folks are shameless
Posted: 09:05 AM ET

From CNN Political Producer Alexander Marquardt

Obama mocked the McCain-Palin ticket for casting themselves as agents of change.
FARMINGTON HILLS, Michigan (CNN) - Barack Obama's mocking of John McCain and Sarah Palin casting themselves as the agents of change reached new heights Monday night as he called their message "shameless" and "empty words."

"What are they talking about?" Obama asked incredulously. "How do they have the nerve to say it? When you've been supporting this current president, your party has been in power, you are not offering anything new, how is that you're serious about change? You're not! It's just empty words.

"I mean think about it," Obama continued after saying they were trying to adopt the 'change' label because it has worked so well for him. "It was just like a month ago they were all saying 'experience, experience, experience.' Then they chose Palin and started talking about 'change, change, change.' What happened? What happened?"

He also took aim again at an ad released by the McCain campaign Monday morning claiming that Palin was against the infamous pork barrel project known as "the Bridge to Nowhere" in Alaska. The campaign says Palin was a proponent of the project before stopping it as governor.

Watch: McCain-Palin stealing Obama's theme?

"I got to admit these folks are shameless," Obama said to cheers from the audience.

"Now she's out there acting like she was fighting this thing the whole time!" Obama laughed. "I mean I'm not perfect," he continued, "but you know what I'm not going to do is, I'm not going describe in an ad that I did something that's the opposite of what I did!"

McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds said in response that Obama has been uniformly negative against the Republican ticket's message.

"Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin have shook up the the establishment and delivered real reforms - Barack Obama has a speech he gave in 2002," said Bounds.

Halfway through his energized speech Obama said, "I'm not going to be mean," to which the crowd shouted back, "be mean!"

But Obama relented for a moment, saying McCain and Palin both having compelling biographies and complimenting Palin's "moose shooting" hobby.

"I mean that sincerely," Obama said as the crowd laughed, "Mother, governor, moose-shooter, I mean I think that's cool, that's cool, that's cool stuff."

1. I agree. If McCain were sincere, why did he wait to run for president
to advocate or do anything about "change". A real maverick would have risked the wrath of the White House, his own party, and a myriad of those in power by harshly criticizing their policies, drafting legislation to neutralize the damage, if not heal the damage, etc.

3. I find it interesting that McCain's spokesman had to complain about Obama being "mean"
It's getting to them. :-)

Perfect message, imo. Lambast McCain/Palin/Bush/Cheney as more of the same, but deliver a solid message of change and reform.

12. The 1984 campaign is just trying to paint Obama
as the "mean" guy. They try to deflect what they are.

4. Barack Obama has a speech he gave in 2002," said Bounds.
As wrong about that (it was 2004) as he is everything else.
