Now McCain has brought up sex education |
|
Edited on Tue Sep-09-08 11:27 PM by barack the house
Shouldn't it be highlighted that education on how to protect teenagers from sexually transmitted diseases is important let alone to prevent unwanted pregnancies. It's a matter of health and safety. Obama doesn't want very young kids taught about sex but McCain has only highlighted that better sex education would of benefited Gov. Palin's kid. He doesn't need to mention her incident but he should highlight that McCain has only highlighted an issue to be addressed.
Obama can slam this back in his face that some Republican policy is killing folks in it's irresponsibility. In this modern world teenagers should be better informed to protect them from various diseases out there. It can be optional not mandatory but it's certainly safer. It's ludicrous to say that Republicans have policy for combating AIDS in Africa but at home they push abstinence that only encourages the potential spread of HIV. Slam their backward policy back in their faces.

1. Don't answer rationally |
|
the answer is to ask why McCain wants kindergardners to be molested.

2. "He doesn't need to mention her incident " |
|
Maybe not directly, but he could say "We've all seen the results of abastinance only sex education..." and then go on about the number of unwanted pregnancies, etc.
That would hit home without being a personal attack on Palin.

3. He can't mention abstinence only education without it being seen as an attack on Bristol |
|
So he'll go the child molester route in his responses as he already has, which is the better of the two options.
