how is she ever gonna hang with Mr. Putin? THAT shall be my statement today to every right wing tool who broaches this subject at work. It should be Obama's too. I mean come on, you cannot be a tough pitbull but cry when someone kinda sorta calls you a name.

1. For the record;
that comment had NOTHING to do with her. Just wanted to make sure that was clear.

5. Uhh, no it wasn't
Sure, we all think she is a filthy pig in many ways, but Obama's statement was clearly in the context of McCain's policies, not about the two individually.

The Republican's made the inference to stir some controversy and keep McCain in the media cycle. They were the ones that made the connection.

6. Uhh... yes.
and, yes, they did make the connection...

It was clearly in the context of McSames policies... but Obama's a smart guy and knows what he's doing.

12. No, it was directed at McSame's Bushlike economic policies.
But thanks, now I know how much weight to give your opinions in the future.

19. No it wasn't. You, and everyone else can draw that
association, but Obama said nothing of the sort, nor do I think it was his implication.

2. The only people who said she's a pig with lipstick
are republicans... they are the ones who made the assumption that Palin is the pig
(rather than a metaphor for McCain's bad ideas).

8. She called herself a pitbull with lipstick. What's wrong with pigs?
If being a "pitbull with lipstick" is something to be proud of, I don't see the problem with being a pig with lipstick. What's her problem? She brought it up.

13. Yep, only McCain is calling Palin a big here. Just like McCain won't let Palin talk to reporters...
Just like McCain tells her what she can say.

I think it's pretty clear who the TRUE sexists are here.

7. No one called her a name..
The GOP thinks when anyone mentions 'lipstick on a pig', they must be referring to Palin. Why do they have such a low opinion of their own VP pick?

But if the shoe fits and she feels like wearing it who are we to stand in her way?

11. The comment was not about Palin, though McCain's usage of the term was clearly directed at Hillary.
Did he apologize?

15. she's the one who brought lipstick into this converstation, and if
she thinks she own's any refrence to 'lipstick' from now on, she may not like what she hears.

There is more to this campaign, and this race than "gov. Palin".- the world does not rotate around her, no matter what she thinks, or how the media covers current events.

16. Before she could be insulted, she'd have to say so herself.
That ain't gonna happen... b/c of the National Enquirer story coming out today.

20. All this faux outrage from the Reps!
No matter how hard they try, they just can't make me believe they really care about the comment.

It's just another effort to keep the last 8 years from being talked about.
