I seem to recall that Dowd is a Republican political analyst, so I was surprised to hear him say that this current bounce in the polls for McCain won't last, based on past experience with such bounces. He cited the Mondale bounce after Ferraro was picked. Dowd says the polls go back to where they were after a bit and "after people have a chance to take a second look."
So folks, that's a 'pub speaking. Calm down. Keep hammering them with your activism and your LTTEs. Stop watching Morning Joe, it's a waste of time and drains you of energy you need to combat these forces of evil.
