She said NOTHING of the fact that McCain used the SAME phrase when speaking of Hillary back in May.

7. I just called and told the person who answered that I was livid about this

and was going to be talking to a whole lot of women about this abuse of my womenhood in order for Republicans to win an election. I told him that I resented being exploided, after having worked so hard for equality. That I was ashamed of the Republican party for taking us down this road, and I was specifically angered because of how advances that I had worked so hard for were being belittled. That they were in fact hurting my daughters.

They need more phone calls from women. They are answering their phone.

all you have to do is google for an address of a mall or some other business in her district and use that as your home address. The email gets through and gets read because I've done it many times for many different Senators and Congressmen from all over the country and have gotten responses.

For some reason, she is well liked by many people, not just Republicans. Although her popularity statewide was before the Bush years. I wonder if she is as popular nowadays. After saying things like this and supporting Bush, I'm guessing not.

I keep seeing DU posts repeating the framing that the right wing sets up. It's important that we don't fall into that trap.

So you are buying into their framing of this, that it's about insulting women. But it's not. It was about McCain's issues, just as McCain's remark was about Hillary's health care program.

The apology owed at this point is from the congresswoman who demanded that Obama apologize. She owes him an apology for misconstruing what he said and she should use the floor for that apology, or a press conference.
