4. In 1964 Goldwater
drew huge crowds and he lost 49 states. McGovern also drew large crowds and we know what happened to him. The size of these crowds only mean she has fired up the base. There is also the curiosity factor.

8. WOW really? Anyone got a pan of it?
I've been trying to keep an eye on the size of the pukey crowd but they're not exactly easy to find.

Today's speech I caught on CNN only showed tight shots.

10. Ferraro Syndorme
right after Gerry hit the ticket there was big excitment for Mondale. For a limited time only. Palin does have her sect fellows to help paper the house, and the fact that Republican die hards have been dying hard over Obama's big crowds. 75,000 in Portland Oregon, as I recall. And that was during Primaries. Still triple what they can muster with a double act and carefully selected locations.
