1) I'm desperately trying to psyche myself up to do phone banking for the campaign this afternoon. I need this!

2) I'm taking my mom to a doctor's appointment today and wanted something I could print out and slip into the magazines and newspapers at the doctor's office.

6. K&R Every good DUer should be phonebanking.....I am, and this list...

This list is a very handy thing to have on hand.

It's rare that specific questions come up during a call, but it's nice to be able to rattle off "6x as many members of the military support him", should it come up.

BTW, we're instructed specifically to not tear down McCain when campaigning, so while there are plenty of "he's so bad" talking points, these are not to be used.

There's PLENTY of great things to say about our candidate.

This list is a great compendium of these.

22. Well my mom's appt. too waaaaaay longer than it should have

everything that can did go wrong today. Appointment was for 1:45 but we didn't get out of their until 4:30. ugh - WHY do they overbook so much!!!!!! I had gotten myself hyped to make some calls today after I dropped her off at home then hauled butt to the Sanford office. Then it rains and it's rush hour in the busiest part of Fayetteville and about 30 miles from where I need to be and now I'm disappointed (even though I'm glad her appt. went well).

On the plus side, I left a copy of the Obama KOS booklet (that's what it was after I printed it out and stapled it together)and the Richard Cohen/Washington Post article inside a People Magazine, the one where paparazzi took photos of Obama catching a wave in Hawaii. What better place to leave some Obama information, eh?

I also lost my Moveon.org Obama button somewhere between the car and inside the doctor's office - hopefully it found a good home with someone.

My mom's ok which makes it a good day but the rest of it was sure shot to he!!.
