The way I see it is, McSame said to hell with the Constitution he'll fire the SEC commissioner.
There is this piece of paper - as someone has called it - called the Constitution.
When your sworn into office you take an oath that read's:-- "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
McSame just proves more and more each day how much the same he is to Bush.
Clause 8: Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:--"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

I did more research, but it could be just a gaffe and one can go around not firing the commissioner but instead transfer the commissioners position.
