Per Dad, "Sarah Is A Fast Learner"

Yes, I know all these Palin posts are preaching to the choir. But if every one of us can help educate even one person, and they go on to do so to one other person... - promoted by Julien Sharp)

Well, then there you go- no more worries!
Harry Smith of CBS interviewed Sarah Palin's parents- it will be on 'The Early Show' on Monday morning. http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2008/09/sarah_palins_parents_no_real_b.html">Here is a clip:

This jumped out at me:

Asked by Early's Harry Smith if Heath's daughter is ready to serve as vice president, good old dad says: "She is ready to do anything she wants to. She perseveres, she works so hard, she learns so fast - yeah, I don't worry about that at all."

WOW. Um... WOW.

Nothing about experience or qualifications. Just that she's a fast learner.

http://www.pamshouseblend.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=7257

But look what Sarah "learned"- http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/28/palin-claimed-dinosaurs-a_n_130012.html">that 4000 years ago, dinosaurs (who were extinct 65 MILLION YEARS AGO) and man were walking around at the planet together.

WTF???

Another thing: Mrs. Heath doesn't utter a WORD during the released clips- wonder if she gets a chance tomorrow?

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/11/palin.father/">In an earlier interview with CNN, Mr. Heath said essentially the same thing:

Gov. Sarah Palin's father never imagined that his "little girl" would run for the vice presidency, but he knows his daughter's determination made her a success when others, including himself, expected her to fail.

"I look back on Sarah's perseverance, and whatever she wanted to do, she put her nose to the grindstone, especially in sports," Chuck Heath told CNN in an extensive interview in his Wasilla, Alaska, home. "If she didn't have a certain ability, she worked and worked and worked until she obtained that ability or skill."

How nice- she can work hard until she knows how to be Vice-President!

But answer me these: WHY THIS INTERVIEW NOW?

WHY THE SUDDEN INTEREST IN WHETHER OR NOT BRISTOL GETS MARRIED?

4 days before Sarah Palin's debate?? Are you kidding?

If the McCain campaign doesn't stop "wagging these distracting fleas off the dog" that is their incredibly inadequate vice-presidential choice, they're gonna give the poor thing whiplash!

Call PETA. There's a more abusive story going on HERE than that whole "make ice cream outta human milk" thing they tried last week. (Goggle it. I'm not kidding!)

... compare how smart she seemed four weeks ago to how dumb she seemd two weeks ago to what an idiot she seems like now.

She's on a downward spiral. :)

6. She can cram facts (maybe) pretty quick
but she can't assimilate those facts into a worldview and understand them in any active way over a few weeks.

She so far away that by the time she's informed, she may not even hold her prior opinions.

8. As a kid, she went through the Jethro Bodine School O' Higher Cipherin'
With her perseverin' ways, it took her only three years to make it through the sixth grade.
