3. Sorry to break the trend, but... yes.
Of course, that's mostly from separating form my future ex-wife, and getting control back over my money again.

Both spiritually and financially I am better off.

5. With the effects of inflation, my income is down about 20% from September 2000
And the price of everything, except certain electronic devices, is considerably higher.

I have a much better deal on my home loan than I did then, I have managed to save some money toward "retirement", but overall I am a lot worse off.
