I thought he was just old, but now I realize that he is Old AND Dumb.

I am very serious. This man rivals Bush in stupidity.

2. I see him on par with Bush but Palin just introduces a whole new level in stupidity
McCain drops the bar, she buries it.

19. it's not even a question of aptitude (although she's apparently a slow learner, an anti-Obama)
The immediate problem is she couldn't pass a fourth grade history/civics/geography quiz, which is to say Charlie Gibson stumped her on every question (forget interviews at the fifth grade level like you'd read in "USA Today"), whereas McCain could easily pass for a troubled seventh grader with a D average.

4. This ticket and their campaign is just scary.
The good news is Obama doesn't even have to fight them. They defeat themselves with their stunts and their stupid tactics and interviews.

5. Frenchie's likely correct
In a way McCain is worse, because he can articulate his stupid ideas.

8. I don't think he used to be. I could be wrong.
My impression of him years ago was that he was a pretty sharp guy, so I don't know if he's intentionally dumbing down for this particular campaign or if aging is taking its toll.

10. He lost to Bush
He was out smarted in debates with Bush. The press use to find his lack of knowledge genuine, now they find it scary.

knowledgeable or wise.

15. The Roaming McGnome is too busy Maverickin' and Reformeratin'
and visiting Waziristan with his old pen by his side to bother with such things as keeping up with the times.

I'm beginning to wonder about him...besides his idiot, half-wit running mate.

22. Until this campaign I had no idea how dumb he was.
I assumed he was mean and petty and small-minded, I mean he's a Republican.

But dumb, I didn't think that. Until the last year or so. The more I hear him, the more I realize there's nothing going on between those ears.
