Write to NPR's Worthless Ombudsman and Check In!
(Mods: Posted also in GD, but it's an action request, and really does belong in both... Please don't lock/delete.)

Check out how arrogantly NPR's worthless ombudsman replied to an honest concern from a University Professor about them having Fox "political analysts" do their campaign coverage.

At the bottom of: www.mediawhoresonline.com

It has to be read to be believed.

DO FOUR THINGS:

(1) Read the exchange
(2) Write NPR's ombudsman--and CC it to others at NPR if you want--regarding this nonsense
(3) Check in here, saying you did so
(4) Forward your letter to the Horse (mwo@mediawhoresonline.com) for publication in MWO

DO THIS. Unless we call the whores on their shit, we lose. Very simple. Don't bitch to US about this: write to the whores and the whore-guard themselves.

And report back!

1. Seems as if the ombudsman
may be deaf to activism by e-mail. Perhaps some email to some of directors might be more effective:

Kevin Klose
President & CEO
kklose@npr.org

Bruce Drake
Vice President News and Information
bdrake@npr.org

3. NPR also in trouble for
not covering Congressman Kucinich's campaign. Seems that they were ostensibly covering everyone in Iowa, but they added some not in Iowa, and "forgot" DK.

The debate today was the only thing I have listened to in years, other than classical music on my way to church. They just have become too media-whorish.

4. Who is he ombudsman for? Obviously not their listeners,
so I'm trying to understand who he's the Ombudsman for? Maybe Fox news?
