More drip drip drip - NY Times
PENTAGON RELEASES BUSH'S LONG-SOUGHT MILITARY RECORDS

After saying for months that all relevant documents about President Bush's service in the Texas Air National Guard had been made public, the Bush administration released what it called newly found records on Tuesday night showing that Mr. Bush flew 336 hours in a fighter jet and ranked in the middle of his flight training class.
. . .
White House and Pentagon officials said the documents were released in response to a request by The Associated Press under the Freedom of Information Act. But neither the White House nor the Pentagon could entirely explain why the documents had not been made public in February, when the White House released a two-inch stack of paper related to Mr. Bush's Guard service that administration officials said represented everything that existed.

The release of the documents came as a new Democratic group, Texas for Truth, said it would start running a television commercial this week questioning Mr. Bush's National Guard attendance. The commercial features Bob Mintz, a lieutenant colonel in the Alabama Air National Guard, who served at a Montgomery, Ala., base and says that he never saw Mr. Bush there, even though he was actively looking for him. The television commercial is in large part a response to a Republican group with ties to the Bush campaign, Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, that has said in its own television commercial that Mr. Bush's Democratic competitor, Senator John Kerry, lied about this war record in Vietnam.

On Tuesday night, the White House put the blame on the Pentagon for the belated release of the newly unearthed documents. "Unfortunately, it has become clear that they didn't undertake as comprehensive a search as was directed by the president," said Claire Buchan, a White House spokeswoman.

2. the unmitigated audacity of the Bush mob
I love their blaming the Pentagon. Pathological personalities like theirs make a mockery of their "Party of personal responsibility" claptrap.

8. NO! It opens new questions.
These documents indicate shrub was to join another reserve group in Boston to complete his last 6 months committment. He never did! These new documents don't answer the missing in Ala. questions, but they open new ones about why he never completed his last 6 months.

10. Right - gives the press an out - allows them to cover the story from a new
angle and avoid criticism for ignoring the story before. "It wasn't credible then, but this is a completely NEW issue!"

Anybody, and I mean ANYBODY who swallows this pile of horse flop has drunk so much of the kool aid it's running out their ears. Do they really expect anybody to believe that the POTUS, the CIC himself, could actually order a thorough search and get a half-assed job in return? Puhleeze!!!!!

16. Bush should have been sent to ACTIVE DUTY! Just like he's sending
any National Guard member who messes up like he did.

We need to find some National Guard members who perhaps have a similar history, who were sent to Iraq as punishment for failing to show.
