Where did the "Yes we can!" catchphrase come from?
I was pretty much AWOL from the political scene up until September, so I wouldn't know.

6. He's used it since 2004 at least
I have a small signed flyer from his 2004 Illinois Senate run with "Yes We Can" written on it. I don't know when, specifically, he first started using the phrase.
