The bright side to the accusations of "socialism" hurled at us by the McCain camp is that they are so easily rebutted and exposed, and it's leading to a much-needed discussion of the role and the responsibility of government.

I'm glad you brought this up. I forget about her abortion stand at times when 'arguing' with Randian types. The issue of abortion was also behind her profound opposition to Reagan.
