Racism is palpable in the air.
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 05:51 PM by blueinindiana
This whole election boils down to race.

Palin events are nothing more than modern day Klan rallies.

The Wright ads

Muslim is the new code word for Black

I just hope enough Americans both black and white have decided to "grow up" and move on past racism and hate.

I pray when all is said and done on Tuesday the United States will join the modern world.

1. I think you are wrong, dead wrong.
This election is not about race. It is about the People taking this country back.

5. I agree and disagree.
Yes the hate mob is all about racism - sure. And yes Palin rallies may as well hand out white robes and pointy hats at the entrance. But, There's an awful lot of white folks down here in Georgia even who could really give a flying snot less about Barack Obama's skin color at this point - if they ever did. Well, I live in Metro Atlanta and I'm told that is a whole other world than south Georgia so we'll see. But I still don't think the Wright, Ayers, Muslim, B.Hussein Osama er um Obama meme is sticking very well at all.

6. Indeed. The reason they use all these excuses like terrorist or Muslim or Wright ...
is because they are too ashamed to actually admit that they are racist so they use these other bogus reasons.

7. I agree with everything except for the idea
that racism isn't part of the modern world. Where else in the world do we have a black man as the leader of a majority white country? Problems with racism exist everywhere.
