Clark is allowing the other candidates do his dirty work against Dean

Why is Clark trying to look so above it all while he sits back without attacking Dean while the other candidates attack Dean? He is getting stronger because he isn't attacking because the others are doing it for him.

Clark has a lot of nerve not attacking Dean.
