A vote for Obama in Alaska.

I just heard from my daughter who voted early for Obama -- had a car wreck turning into the voting place, but nothing serious, the other guy's fault. She would not be deterred. :)

So what is your take on the Stevens seat? Will Alaskans elect a convicted felon, or will they cast a vote for Stevens so that if he is elected there will be a special election?

2. I think Mark's got it.

I saw a poll within the past couple of days that had him up by 20. I doubt that spread, but my guess is he will win with a comfortable lead. Mark is well-respected in Alaska and has been a good mayor and city councilman before that. There have been a few questions raised about some of his real estate dealings, but any improprieties (if indeed they exist) pale in comparison to Ted's sins, in my opinion anyway.

I don't think we're going to have to worry about a special election.
