IBD falls in line. RCP average goes up SOME MORE.

After a McCain rally on Sunday that more than halved his lead, Obama is back to where he was headed into the weekend. Independents made the difference, swinging back to Obama and giving him an 11-point advantage with this key group. Final results available on IBDeditorials.com at midnight Monday.

4. 5% and more in every poll now.
But you can't tell that this IBD poll isn't fixed. Strange coincedence...

Btw. from DailyKos, Faux "News" bitterly divided over tightening polls

8. true but the ras state polls were not that comforting...
yes, i was "concerned" a bit, which brought my estimate down to Obama 291, McCain 247 as the final

that's Kerry states + 3(IA,NM,CO) + NV + VA = 291

Whether we like it or not, Ras state polls are usually DEAD on.

12. Even if they were dead on, they had Obama ahead in the most important states by 4 and

every other state tied or McCain +1, so every state depends on GOTV and is winable with the better ground game. And I still think we are ahead in Ohio, but not by a big margin.

one thing we know is that some pollsters will be out of business after this election...there is a good deal of discrepancy in the state polls....

9. they probably don't include leaners at all...
some pollsters make you say for 100% sure that you will vote and support someone....will still end up 52% Obama - 46%M - 2% Others in the end when the rest split.....
