Bush, be a man for once in your life and own your mistakes.
Tell the American people what happened in 1972-3, why you didn't take that medical exam--really--and why you failed to perform according to USAF/TANG standards. Tell us how you got into the Guard over the heads of hundreds of others who'd been on the waiting list longer than your four months on it. Tell us why you really went to Alabama, and what you really did when you were there. Own up, Bush. Be a man.

1. Frankly, that would be GOOD strategy for Shrub...
...ask for forgiveness.

Don't do it W, continue being an asshole.

2. Don't worry. He'll never be a real man. He doesn't have the stuff for it.
:hi:

8. Isn't it amazing?
He could sweep the election if he came down off his horse and said, "Y'know, I've made some mistakes. Some really big ones."

But it'll never happen. There is some kind of cosmic justice at work here...

3. Sociopath. Narcissist. Impossible for him to do.

13. You are so right.
It is impossible for him to do this. His narcissistic personality will not allow him to admit any mistakes. He simply cannot come clean about any of this - it's not in his makeup. It's just not there.

4. That is impossible.
He can't admit to what he did wrong. He only wants to try to make Kerry admit to things that he did not do wrong.

5. We know he was in Alabama 'cause daddy wanted him out of the way
But it would be nice to hear it from him. That would be one heck of a "next chapter" in the family saga.

6. Do You Know How To Live A Lie?
You're asking this boy to do something that he's never had to do in his entire life...assume responsibility. He has no clue, he hasn't had to deal with the concept of your actions have actions. He assumes that whatever he does someone else will come along and clean up or fix. He's only seen life this way.

He's never had to fend for a job...or face the living hell of having no income and hungry mouths to feed. He's never had to admit failure and make ammends for those errors; making him a real man and not a faux cowboy (and probably the reason he needs to play dress-up).

He can't be a man, since he's never had to he one. His small world knows no concept of remorse or true contrition...just empty words that are window-dressing as arrogance tells him he will get away with this one, just like he's gotten away with other things. When you live a lie, you believe the truth to be lies.

7. He's both not man enough to do it...
And he thinks no one cares....or should.

He's too stupid to realize that when he and Cheney called Kerry's service and medals into question, it became too late for no one to care. At least now the rest of the world knows what we knew all along: Dub went AWOL, and was so arrogant and spoiled that he even questioned one of his superior officer's orders to him.

He's always been an a$$hole, and always never cared what others thought of him. In other words, completely UNsuited for ANY administrative or leadership position...including those his buddies counter-manded the Constitution to put him in!

Lord, PLEASE help us get this cancer OUT of the White House!

B-)

9. You have forgotten his last formal press conference.
He's on the record as saying he makes no mistakes. We'll, I guess when you are a Bush a mistake is defined as something the cleaners have not erased yet.

Not Barbara, but I can't shake the feeling that George Sr. is somehow sorry he did this to us.

12. commercial
You just reminded me of an old European commercial I saw on a comedy show (anyone know of Jasper Carrot?). The commercial shows different world leaders and then (purported) footage of their parents. It ends, "Mr. and Mrs. Hitler.... if only they'd used a JIFFY condom...."
