MSNBC is misinterpreting their own numbers. Just because a white voter says that race was a factor in his voting doesn't mean it was a negative. They may be drawn to the idea of voting for an AA candidate and so race played a factor in their voting decision.

Just because you answer yes to that question doesn't mean you're a racist.

it is quite possible that some of these people preferred to see a person of color win.

Maybe they want to move this country forward toward some form of racial healing. Hell maybe it is just white guilt.


To assume they are all racists is an unfounded assumption.
