It can be argued that the Dean campaign has done a fantastic job in New Hampshire. In this local newspaper piece regarding a local girl from North Carolina who is now in charge of Dean's campaign in New Hampshire, I think we get a great glimpse of the type of people Dean has doing his day-to-day campaigning.

“My politics are very much informed by my family and my values. My family moved to the area when I was a freshman at high school. People are people whereever you are,” Hicks told the Black Mountain News. “I’ve always had the same job. Bringing people together to make a change. It is rooted in my experiences of Western North Carolina. My family has always been do-gooders. Not necessarily political, but doing good and making connections with their neighbors.”
