What Have you Saved for Posterity?
I am lucky to be in a hotel this week, free access to newspapers!

I've saved from this campaign:

- My Obama logo magnet (still on my car)
- My Obama/Biden magnet with 'I Voted' sticker (also still on my car)
- Newspapers from yesterday (USA Today & Charlotte Observer)
- Newspapers from today (USA Today & Charlotte Observer)
- My iPhone photos of my vote so there can be no doubt that I helped make history

You?

What will you save, and who do you hope to pass it on to one day?

1. I recorded President-Elect Obama's speech, last night.
Now, I have to figure out how to convert it to a better format. Windows Media Center files are freaking huge.

2. Well, I didn't get to stay in a hotel this weekend but
I'm saving

- Some campaign posters
- My "HOPE" yard sign
- some campaign buttons
- some disks with mp3 files of all of his major speeches I could download
- a copy of my credentials to be a poll watcher in my precinct

I'll give them to my grandson, Mr. Obama's biggest fan my known universe.

4. It's not as fun as it sounds... ;)
Our house flooded, so our floors are being repaired. We're stuck in a Residence Inn all week. But :woohoo: free newspapers!

And good for your grandson! We are raising a whole new generation of tolerant children, and I can't wait to see what they do with this world!

An Obama action figure, a paper doll set of the Obamas, and one of Shepard Fairey's posters (the VOTE one). Also the Newsweek issue from when Obama picked Biden for VP. And lots and lots of pictures on my computer.

Waiting on my Washington Post newspaper.
