I know there's a lot of competition for that title, but after tuning to Rush's show out of curiosity today,he's definetly in contention.

While some wingnuts like Elizabeth Hasselback at least put their darker selves on hold to praise Obama's historic accomplishment -- or tried to be intellectually honest and fessing up to the failure of the GOP and conservatism -- Rush gave no holiday to his bile.

During the ten minutes I could stomach listening, he announced that America had entered into a suicide pact yesterday by electing Obama and a Democratic Congress.

He also said the election was "all about race" -- and he was not being complimentary about it.

He also attacked the self-loathing of people like Tom Brokaw (you know that liberal media guy) for their part in the success of Obama.

4. Awhile back I read one of the best articles

on Rushie including some of his earlier quotes. In short, it showed that what really makes him tick is not his loyalty to the repugs....it's his drive as an opportunist and entertainer. He's not a political commentator, he's a salesman who figured out playing the repugs works very well for him....namely financially. He was even quoted as ridiculing the repugs for buying his crap. They're too ignorant to realize he's using them like he uses everything else.

He's still a disgusting jerk, but the real joke is on the wingnuts.
