If Obama should nominate Anita Hill to the USSC
Would she be confirmed by the Senate?

Should Obama even consider her?

1. Depends on her record and what she has done over the last
20 years.

He can't just nominated her out of spite or to get even.

Of course anyone is better than what's his name....sleeps on the bench...rarely talks....

4. She is a Law Professor, specializing in Social Policy
and Education...

She certainly is much more qualified than the one who harrassed her...

3. Is she the best qualified person Obama could find for the supreme court in your opinion?

6. Maybe, maybe not...
I'm putting forth a hypothetical question here.

I do know that there were many persons that were nominated in the past that weren't qualified.

She is certainly a better than any of *'s choices.

8. The HISTORY makes her interminably controversial, IMO.
Like waving a red flag.

11. Me too, but only if she promises to put a physical whippin on Clarence
or at least put a tack on his seat everyday.

25. Well it is no drama Obama so wouldn't happen, but it would be poetic justice.>

More trouble than it's worth really, although mabye Clarence should drop the birth cirtificate thing it won't fly and it may make Obama more inclined to make that appointment.

12. That would be interesting. She and Clarence Thomas having to
work together again. I hope someone will think of hiring food tasters if that were to happen.

13. I don't mind scholars, because they bring a completely different
frame of reference to the table, but I would prefer at least some judicial experience...

Perhaps Obama could appoint her to the federal District Court and then to the SC after a few years on that bench...

14. Not a snowball's chance in hell she will be chosen, or if chosen, approved.
Her claim to fame is a couple of tawdry brushes with Clarence Thomas. BFD.

File her under "Harriet Miers."

20. No...
I thought it was a legit question... despite the controversy surrounding Ms.Hill.

I doubt very much if Obama would even consider her, but you never know.
