1. That makes it delightfully real, doesn't it? :)
Some wit posted the thread title on election night, "Two Democratic senators are about to lose their seats," causing a jolt of worry until one clicked on it to see the reason - because they were ascending to the Presidency and Vice-Presidency. :)

Who replaces Obama and Biden in the Senate, btw? Hillary will have to find a replacement too, come to think of it. I hope we're not losing 3 Democratic votes. How do they pick a successor?

11. Gov. Ruth Ann Minner of Delaware already named Biden's replacement
Biden's former long-time aid Ted Kaufman.

7. His signature is horrible! How could we elect someone with such a poor signature?
It's disgusting!

I tease.

It does hit home, doesn't it? Obama is going to the freaking White House and he's building the greatest team that anyone has ever seen.

10. Hmm. What little I know about handwriting analysis indicates he may have a big dose of ego.

I'm not criticizing. I can't imagine someone without a heavy dose of ego running for POTUS.

12. I might rephrase it as "self-confidence."
Hard to know where one leaves off and spills over into the other, of course. But he's got to be confident in order to follow his vision, and strong in the face of all the problems he will have to deal with.
