Neocons, Republicans and War Criminals Rave About Obama's 'Team of Rivals'

Ok Obama listens to all opinions and make up his mind. So where are the Progressive voices he will listen to?

Obama is getting praise from all the wrong people.

As Barack Obama's opus, Team of Rivals, continues its rolling debut, the early reviews are in and the "critics" are full of praise for the cast:

"The new administration is off to a good start."
-- Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell.

"Superb ... the best of the Washington insiders ... this will be a valedictocracy -- rule by those who graduate first in their high school classes."
-- David Brooks, conservative New York Times columnist

"Virtually perfect ... "
-- Senator Joe Lieberman, former Democrat and John McCain's top surrogate in the 2008 campaign.

"Reassuring."
-- Karl Rove, "Bush's brain."

3. You don't think he would? Boy, you really don't like Obama
I am really happy he is our president. He can actually speak in complete sentences, surely that is one thing that must make you happy.

4. Nearly 2/3 of Obama transition team worked for Clinton
Now you're going to tell me that NAFTA, GAT, WTO, Telecommunications ACT, and Glass-Steagall and Clinton's administration were progressive?

5. This about sums you up.
I think the Democratic party will not regain it's soul until it purges itself of DLC and Blue Dogs. Further, I think that if the Dems do not execute this purge very soon - They will become what 40 years ago WAS the Republican Party and their will be nothing on the LEFT.

How Stalin like of you. Let the purges begin eh?

8. Seriously. The Republicans are the party of ideological purity, not us.
They purge those who don't agree with them--and look how that's working out!

10. You said it. My own parents are Repubs. They are brain washed
into believing that anyone who disagrees with them is crazy. My Mom got mad at me during the election. Sigh. I hate this purging crap. Dems come in many different sizes and colors.

11. the composition of his foreign policy team IS a bit disturbing . . .
but Obama himself was against the war, and I can only assume that he has his reasons for making these appointments . . . his entire campaign revolved around getting us out of Iraq in 16 months, so he'd have one hell of a time backing away from that commitment . . . if he can pull it off with this particular bunch, I will be mighty impressed . . .
