6. McCain and Kyl are
my senators and they'll probably be re-elected. napolitano is going to be chief of homeland security which means our republican secretary of state becomes governor. :puke:

4. Darn it. Not to take my rage out at you, but ...
I just hate thinking of Georgia as a red state. It's just not true.

We voted for Clinton in 1992. We gave the country a great President, and he was a Democrat. We had a solidly Democratic congress until the Diebold machines ate that up in 2002.

Sorry, sweets. Nothing personal. Just had to vent.

7. I did. I know many who didn't :(
But it was truly an uphill battle. Diebold machines + red state = repug winner (no matter how disgusting that person is)

9. Dem senate prospects need to reach out to the AA community
more. Not saying that Martin didn't, because he did. Hell he even had Ludicris out campaigning for him. But during the general, he seem more interested in locking down the dixiecrats and relied on the Obama coattails for the black and young voters. That kept Shameless under 50%, but Martin ended up paying the price in the runoff.

This election taught one thing, if you want people to invest in you, you need to invest in them. Georgia will turn BLUE again, but Democrats have to campaign hard in the beginning as well as the end. The demographics are trending our way, its up to our politicians to take advantage of it. Don't take anything for granted. People don't have to vote for you. They will sit out an election. Make them WANT to vote for you.

Who would have thought a black man name Barack Hussein Obama would become President by winning North Carolina, Indiana, and Virginia?

Yes We Can!!!!!
