President Obama, please end religious bigotry. Pull pilot licenses for fundamentalist Christians!

The government routinely insults and abuses Bible-believing Christians by denying our religion.

When a child is taught about evolution in school the government is teaching that America's predominant religion is false.

When abortion is treated as something other than murder the government is stating that America's predominant religion is false.

But the ultimate insult to Bible-believing Christians is that devout fundamentalists are licensed to drive mass transit vehicles, pilot airplanes, work as surgeons, serve in the military, work in public-safety professions like police and fire-fighters, work as air-traffic controllers and operate heavy machinery in a host of professions.

Allowing Bible-believing Christians to hold responsible positions is nothing short of the Establishment of the religion of secular-humanism. (Surely as a Constitutional expert you understand this!)

The message from the government is clear: "Your religion is for crack-pots. You may believe that you might be raptured away at any moment, dooming the passengers on the airplanes and buses you operate but we consider the possibility of the rapture to be such a joke that we allow you to hold all sorts of responsible positions in society."

In fact, George W. Bush, a true Christian, was put in charge of our nuclear retaliatory capability. It is likely that atomic war with Russia (i.e. Magog) would presage the second coming, yet there would have been no one left in the White House to retaliate!

It is an insult and it has to stop. President Obama, please prove to us you are not a dogmatic leftist and that you take our faith seriously.

Pull our drivers licenses now, before something terrible happens.

More people have died over thousands of years in the name of somebody's "god", than any good that has come from those stupid fairy tale beliefs.

There is no invisible guy in the sky who "loves" us, yet is willing to destroy is in a nanosecond if we don't believe in him. There is no invisible guy who grants wishes based on how long you beg (pray), or how many people beg (pray). There is no invisible guy who will reward us with eternal sexual pleasure from 72 virgins if one is willing to sacrifice their life in his name. There is no "heaven" where one gets to go to sing hymns, eat, and pet sheep for eternity if they're good and believe in this invisible god. There is no hell or lake of fire for those who are smart and don't believe in that shit. This invisible guy doesn't do fireside chats.

If we fuck up, and destroy this planet and every living thing on it, it's not because it was "god's will", or god gave the order to push the red button. It's because we're incredibly stupid.

When you can get a reduced sentence or parole for finding Jesus then that means there are people behind bars today for declining to be Christians. Nice.

8. I consider rapture-ready pilots to be sociopaths

Those "left behind" are not doomed to hell. There will be 1000 years after the rapture for everyone to accept Christ, which will be easier to do since Christ will be here ruling the world. (In that circumstance even I'd accept him!)

But the passengers who die in post-rapture crashes will have no opportunity for salvation and will go straight to Hell!

So any rapture believer who accepts such a job is a fucking psychopath, willing to deny the hope of salvation to his passengers just so he can have a good job.
