Oh Holy Joe where art thou?
Why was he not running around Georgia with his pals John McCain and Sarah Palin trying to get Saxby Chickenshit elected? Why isn't he crowing about Saxby winning?

What happened? Leave your spine in Connecticut after the election by mistake?

Doug D.

1. Joe was back in CT last week, and the voters are pissed.
They know he screwed them, and they won't forget.

3. If you are implying because he is Jewish I hate to break it to you
but Atlanta in particular has a large Jewish community. I know - I lived there for 12 years.

4. Atlanta is not where the Chambliss voters would come from
If you take a look, Dekalb and Fulton were clearly Martin voters... And, yes, I lived in Atlanta for many years.

Lieberman would not play in the rural areas-- the same areas that an African American running for President would likewise have a very hard time--i.e., Saxby Chambliss turf.

6. I lived in Georgia for 20 years of my life including the rural parts
and I understand but he certainly could have gone into Atlanta to campaign for Saxby but didn't...

7. Sure he could... but his presence in Atlanta would have
helped Chambliss minimally, if at all. At the same time, he would likely stimulate a backlash--likely manifesting as decreased support and turnout on election day in rural communities.

9. You miss my point
Edited on Wed Dec-03-08 10:02 AM by hlthe2b
I am very very very well aware of the differences in Atlanta with rural Georgia--that is the point. Having lived not only in Atlanta, but in Cherokee, Cobb, Gwinnett and Clarke Counties for more than 2/3 of my life, I can assure you I know Georgia. Now, if you want to think I am a mere teen, with limited perspective that would be fine (and flattering)...;)

10. i was born in marrietta
i probably spelled it wrong though
but moved to florida as an infant so i would never presume to tell you of your policital experiences there
i was only commenting on the perception of a lack of cultural diversity in the south
here in florida we have a virtual UN of ethnic groups and much of georgia i assumed (perhaps wrongly)was much the same
now really shouldnt you be getting ready for the junior prom?

5. Holy Joe's tiny balls are in a box on Rahm Emanuel's desk.
He's keeping them for Obama to smash at any time he needs to.

13. LOL!! Now that's something I'd like to witness. Holy Joe screaming
and whimpering over his smashed wee balls. In a metaphoric sense, of course. :)
