3. the one I'm worried most about
is Harry Reid. I hope that we can challenge him in a primary. He's been ineffective in his leadership role in the senate.

Looking at some of those numbers, there's a few Republicans that we can take down.

4. Brownback and Martinez are retiring - good chances with those seats
I know Kansas is a red state but Govener Kathleen Sebelius is soon ending her job as governor due to term limits and would be a good choice to run for that open senate seat. And Florida is starting to go back into the Blue so this should be a good pickup too. Perhaps Betty Castor can run again (She lost by 2% back in 2004)

I'd love to see Tom Daschle do a revenge run against John Thune in South Dakota - I think Daschle would easily win that seat back. I think North Carolina's move towards the blue might make Richard Burr a good target too.

Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Arizona are toss-ups. All 3 states of senators that are in poor health (Bunning, Specter and McCain) and at least 2 of them could have strong candidates to run on the democratic ticket IF the republican in the seat retires (If Specter retires there are a host of viable democratic candidates including Hardball Host Chris Matthews. And with McCain, I would think if he retires then Janet Napolitiano might run for the seat.)
