Democratic Gov. John Baldacci of Maine is term-limited out of the governor's office next year. Who should run in his place? And who will the GOP nominate here?

And I think he would've won if he wasn't running against Susan Collins.

...So I nominate Stephen King...you could do worse and imagine the governor's mansion at Halloween.

3. I haven't heard of any front runners

The state is in bad shape (which one isn't?), and I wouldn't be surprised to see a Repuke get elected given how Baldacci has been far less than spectacular. He was elected to a second term because the alternative that the Repukes put up was even worse.

Tom Allen is a non-starter.

I mean I could see where these 2 would get fedup with the Republicans in DC and run for governor.
