Food for thought...I wonder who the CEO's of GM, Ford, and Chrysler voted for in the election?

It's very well known that GM CEO Wagoner and VP Lutz are big time Republicans. I'm not sure on Mulally and Nardelli, though I suspect the whole top brass are big time GOP guys.

Although I support the auto loans, it's somehow ironic that they are groveling to Democrats, especially Obama, to basically save their asses. I know a lot of times on this board, we give grief to rural, poor folks who vote Republican against their own economic self interests...well, what about CEO's? The economy is in the tank due to 'their' president. And now people can't even afford to buy cars, or even get credit for them because of Bush and they're begging Obama and the Dems to save them.

If it weren't for Obama, there wouldn't even be hearings on auto bailout loans. They're livelihood is depending on a 'liberal' African-American freshman senator that was just elected president of the U.S.

Nardelli hosted a big fund raiser for Bush's election in 2004 while he was CEO of Home Depot here in Atlanta.
