Linda Tripp was an employee in the George H. W. Bush administration, and kept her job when Bill Clinton took over in 1993.

You know the rest.

Obama just fired all of Bush's political ambassadors. Keep going, Mr. President Elect and soon to be Chief of Staff Rahm.

I understand and approve of keeping a few high profile individuals such as Gates, but as for the rest, fire them all.

Every Bush administration employee (outside of non-political people who serve the White House in other ways) should be shown the door.

Fire them all.

2. I think a good start

would be to fire every shrub appointment and then hunt around to find the pricks that manage to burrow in by having their appointment jobs converted to civil service career positions and find a reason to fire them too. Shit if shrubbo and his henchmen/women can fire all the US attorneys why not continue the practice.

But this is a case where they need to have smaller government. Just fine tune it to her department. Or have her transferred to the worse possible position that would lend herself to not performing her job satisfactorily.

She was moved to the Pentagon. From there she still had access through connections and did her damage.

No Linda Tripps as of January 20th, 2009. Fire them all.
