Did anyone see "Morning Schmo" this morning?
I almost drop-kicked my TV this morning while ironing my clothes. The idiot had the "Balls" to say that Barack Obama ran the dirtiest campaign ever!

The dirtiest campaign ever Joe? Are you kidding me? He must've gotten his teleprompter mixed up with the one they use over at Fixed Noise.

Just wanted to see if anyone else caught this?

1. what the hell prompted him to say that? What's pissing him off these days?
God, you can never tell with him. Also, I miss the morning DU Morning Joe Sucks threads. I know others complained and said "don't watch if it bothers you", but I stopped watching and still thought that the DU threads about Joe and Mika were hilarious to read.

4. You are a better man than me.
I can't even channel surf to Mourning Ho-Jo. Hell! If I was holding an Iron, it might have went through the TV set.

IMNSHO, Joe Scarborough is VILE and his sidekicks (especially Mika Mouse) are pathetic sycophants.

That show is at the intellectual level of a clique of Junior High Kids.

Do yourself a favor and don't watch that bunk. ;)

5. I saw it briefly
-just long enough to hear him say that all of Obama's ads were negative McCain ads. Hearing this same sort of stuff every day recently had me wondering this morning... "why doesn't he take his morning schmo schtick over to faux news?" He'd fit right in and he can take Meek Mika with him. I'll take Morning Willy.

8. Yup, I saw it...
What a freakin' RW HACK he is! "Grainy pictures of McCain saying he was going to take away Social Security," "He BOUGHT VA runnint 20 ads to every 1 of McCain's," etc. Of course he also claimed that Bush will be proven right about Iraq (as if the end justifies the means and lying us into war was ok), etc. Did you also notice he complimented Mika on how GOOD she looked? Her hair was in full Palin mode. I don't know if she's more into Sarah Palin or Joe Scarborough.

9. That's all you have to do to make Mika love you - just say she's real purdy.
:eyes: She's intelligent but DAMN if she doesn't have *issues* regarding her age and sexuality? I have soap operas for that and don't like seeing it on my morning news shows.

12. Mika is the dumbest two people on MSNBC, and that's saying something.
Edited on Thu Dec-04-08 04:27 PM by TexasObserver
It's fairly obvious that except for Rachel Maddow, MSNBC tries to get attractive but idiotic women to work as news readers. Alex Witt? Contessa Brewer? Neither one of them has enough sense to come in out of the rain. Mika must be the embarrassment of her family. Everyone is smart and savvy except her. I can imagine how they laugh at her at family events.

14. and she acts so strange whenever her dad is on the set.
It's like "we know, he's your dad, Mika. It's not that big of a deal, and you don't have to act like a 10 year old about it." Oh, and she said the other day that her family used to debate around the dinner table, and the person who lost would have to go outside in the doghouse. And she said "That's how I came to love pets.."

She's 45 going on 14.

I have never seen such a silly, vacuous, empty headed person on TV news.

13. It's pathetic to watch her...
her hair gets more pouffy in the back ala Palin every morning. And she BRAGGED about her hairstyle looking like Palin's. She said it one day to Niccole Wallace: "I don't know if you can see me but I'm being 'accused' of having Palin's hairstyle." Now she wears it that way everytime she's with Joe.

11. Actually he was even worse with his screed about the Iraq War
I was going to mention it but wanted to find the video first.

He was going off about how nobody "in the media" is doing anything about the good stories in Iraq... nobody in the NEW YORK TIMES! (emphasis his...) He just kept whining as though he's sitting on his can in somebody's garage... he's in the media, right? He doesn't know how to use a computer or talk to somebody who could do his work for him? It was truly a pathetic performance. Mika The Mumbler was nodding her head in agreement. I had to turn it off.

17. In A Nutshell He's A Big Baby Sore Loser
The ten minutes I saw of him he was practically foaming at the mouth about holder, dirty BC and Obama's nasty campaign. So let's see, the American people thought McShame ran the dirtiest campaign and they re-elected Bill C. Schmo is on his third wife so what's he doing running at the mouth. And why exactly did he leave Congress. Guys like Joe are the reason the Cons got whupped twice in a row.

25. Joe was bragging last week how historians are going to treat Bush much more kindly
than the rest of us because Bush kept us so safe since 911. The guy is a fucking nitwit.

The ONLY reason anyone ever flips to his idiotic show is because once in a while he gets good guests. If it wasn't for that, his show would have been pulled ages ago. Morning Joe is one of the most despicable assholes out there. Just looking at him and hearing his whiney voice is enough to make anyone throw up in their mouth a little bit.

27. My email to Joe today.. "Why the republican party deserves to die ..
a natural death"

I get impression that he actually reads emails from viewers.. (please excuse my typos and misspellings and grammatical errors.- - I know...you usually do ;))

Joe:

I watch your show religiously. What I like about you is your capacity to see things in a non-partisan light --from time to time. You've been in full "save the republican party by all means," mode since the landslide election in November. This week your meme is that bush didn't misuse the intell for Iraq because the UN passed a resolution stating Sadam Hussein was in possission of WMDs.

What you fail to remember is that the UN mandated Hans Blitz into Iraq to do inspections and bush kicked them out in a hurry so that he could get his war on. Bad enough.

Why the republicans really deserved to die a natural death goes back to Florida, 2000. Bush stole that election by means of various schemes to keep black Democrats from voting. There was also some 20K votes for Gore, DELETED from one of your trick voting machines in Volusia County alone. So, I got your bush won by 535 votes right here. So all of you republicans applauded loudly as bush stole the election in broad open daylight. Though, no one ever asked why he did it. Do you ever ask yourself that question? The answer would be because he had an agenda to fulfill. What that agenda is, I don't know. It doesn't matter that I don't know. It is what it is. So, the FACT that bush is viewed as the most dishonest president since Tricky Dicky, is no mystery to me. When bush stole the election, the republicans tried to justify it by strongly implying that bush as president was God's will. How disgusting is that? Reason enough to put your party out of business.

The republicans march in lockstep with bush's every moronic utterance and actions. Take the American auto industry crisis. Remember Ari Fleischer telling us that it is the American people's God given right to drive gas guzzlers? And all the republicans echoed those sentiments. Remember Jerry Fallwell bragging about his gas-guzzling Hummer? Sigh. Bush and his team of republican enablers REFUSED to implement higher CAFE standards. And unfortunately the auto makers refused to take the initiative. There is plenty of blame to go around. But it would have been nice if the republicans would have taken some leadership to at least try to steer them to do it voluntarily.

The truth is, bush has been a miserable failure his whole adult life. In 2000, I dubbed him the "Milli Vanilli" president because his entire records of accomplishments was either embellished or contrived. He was a PR creation of Rove and Hughes. Period. If the truth had been known about him and how his history was one of turning every thing he ever touched to poop, he wouldn't have gotten any where near the White House. So true to his unfortunate history, he has been a huge albatross around America's neck. Below is just a short list of his many "accomplishments:"

1. 911 because he failed to pay attention to the intell reports warning of a catastraphic attack by bin Laden. He says he thought they were only going to hijack a plane. Yeah right!
2. Lying us into attacking Iraq, a country that never did a damned thing to us.
3. Abu Graib - because it created even more insurgents to attack and kill our service personel in Iraq
4. Katrina - loss of an entire city
5. Failure of republican congress and the administration to have oversight of any kind over anything.
6. Collapse of our entire economy and an impending depression

This is what you are condoning. How do you look yourself in the mirror? How do you sleep at night? How different would our country be right now if you republicans hadn't applauded while a coup d'tat took place in our country in 2000 by bushco and the SCOTUS in 2000? Do you really believe that Al Gore would have allowed our country to be destroyed the way bush and the republicans have?
