Suggest legal, nonviolent yet creative ways to drive out the Bushies with Civil Service protection.
They can't be fired, but there have to be ways, within the bounds of the law and (mostly)good taste to make them er, DECIDE to mosey on along.

Get innovative here.

Nobody will likely get the chance to do these things, but there have to be some ideas we can dream about.

If nothing else, you can get in touch with your inner "OFFICE SPACE" character and device various methods.

1. A friend asked this.
If they attempt to follow wrong policies they fail, and eventually they're out.

And depending on the agency, some/many will just be unhappy with the 'ambience.'

3. No, he's talking about Bush loyalists hired in civil service jobs.

Not being political appointees, you can't just fire them because of their political opinions.

10. A point of clarification, if I may:
We're talking about burrowing. The administration has so far converted at least 20 positions from Schedule C, the categorization of presidential appointees, to the permanent civil service.

That way these individuals don't have to worry about the annoyances associated with actually qualifying for civil service positions. They were merely appointed as political operatives, and now they are morphing into civil servants before our very eyes.

Use a variant of "Ricking" and rig it so they always end up with "Democracy Now!"

13. Let's see now. What could be done?
Disable their phone. Change the height of their chair for a week. Empty their stapler every 3 days. Use one of those Annoy-a-tron gizmo.

Put pictures of Obama in their cubicle. Then put pictures of Hitler in their cubicle.

If the top down policy is such-and-such and they do everything in their power to defy that policy, their ass is grass.

12. Considering that they probably don't have much seniority...
And Republicans are all for reduced government...

Do like General Motors does to their workers to make them more efficient.

Either add work from the job(s) eliminated to those kept or outsource it.

20. Keith said last night that the reason the Justice Dept lawyer in Pittsburgh
is holding out is so that Holder will have to fire her and then the Bush people can say, "Look! See! The Obama administration is doing political firings, too."

I can't remember the details, but she was responsible for hiring that blond Monica chick that was involved in the Justice Dept. firing scandal.

Their dirty tricks to avoid responsibility for any of their fuck-ups never ends............
