16. I think you've done it!!
You have single-handedly solved the GD: P "circular firing squad" problem!

Before you are allowed to post a message to GD: P, a warning message will come up and ask you if your post is British-"enough."

Politeness returns to the tubez!

12. As long as they keep British food IN Britain
... why not?? :)

America may be ready for national healthcare but it may take a while before we're on board with pickled eel/herring/Velveeta/God only knows.

22. ...what? You are thinking of Britain, aren't you? Left of France and up a bit?
I've never come across a pickled eel. *Jellied* eel is a stereotypical British dish, but not one anyone actually eats.

Pickled herring isn't British cuisine at all - I think it's Scandinavian, possibly, or Dutch.

Velveeta is American, isn't it? Here in Britain, we have actual cheese (a jealously-guarded secret involving cows).

24. Good God, man. It was a joke!
I did a five second search on "pickled British food" and came up with 15 dozen recipes including pickled turnips, cabbage and other assorted goodies. I know that pickled eel is not a British snack but there is no shortage of pickling going on in Britain.

And yes, Velveeta is American. I think there is some cheese in there somewhere but it's jealously hidden by all of the Real Cheese #12 food coloring.

13. You'll all get a nice cuppa tea anyway
And you won't get any more French fries OR Freedom fries - they're chips!

Wouldn't mind a share in Obama, anyway!
