1. Yes and no.

It's good for the party and for our politicians but not necessarily good for democracy.

2. Being Blind means one cannot see, so that can't be good.

But being damning, blaming, accusing, and name calling, if you are specifically dealing with the incoming President is just as bad.

Politicians are not all created equal, I think you would at least agree to that, no?

5. I voted other because....

usually in order for a politician to be elected they have a record you can look at, they lay out their agenda and what they plan on accomplishing if they are successful at getting into office. They have to also tell you how they plan on accomplishing these goals. Once you've voted, and they have won the office I guess your faith can be considered "blind" until they give you a reason to think they are not living up to those promises.

Until they fail at reaching any of those goals or start totally going in the opposite direction, I fully support the candidate I voted for. I'm not sure if that is what you mean by blind faith. I think that once they start making decisions you scrutinize, and or watch to see if they are moving toward the goals they promised.

but it usually depends on the politician. Some can't be trusted from the beginning.

21. One can hardly have blind faith

in such a public art. Any effective politician does things with clear public impact. Blind faith is uncalled for, you just need to watch what they do. Of course, one can only start this process after they are sworn into office and begin to act. Before swearing in, any notions, inferences, or conclusions are meaningless speculation.

To the extent that there can be "blind faith" there can also be "blind criticism". I observe a little of each floating about these days.
