The Most Uninteresting Person to Occupy the Whitehouse in my Lifetime
Edited on Tue Dec-09-08 03:07 AM by kennetha
It's got to be the Shrub -- by a long, long shot. I just listened to part of an interview with the man on Nightline. God, what a boring, shallow empty human being. Most people who serve as president come out deeper, more mature, perhaps wiser than when they went in -- even if they screw it up. But not Bush. Gosh, what an empty suit.

What country was that that selected and then elected this nothing of man? Was that my country? Was it really?

Gerald Ford said when he took office after Nixon's resignation that our long national nightmare was over. Obama should say something like that again when he takes office in January.

1. I'd say Bush is unintentionally interesting..
..I'm always interested whenever he speaks, cause I'm about to get a big laugh.

2. For months, I have been anticipating that every message board poster in America will say it. Obama
should not. Ford said it about a situation that he thought was bad for America--Watergate hearings and threatened impeachment. He did not say it to put down any President, especially not his friend, Nixon.

4. I guess you're right
It would be a little classless for Obama to say that. But he certainly will say something about turning the page, a new day, or something like that.

But god I can't believe we've endured eight years of that arrogant nullity.

6. Just Maybe. but we've had some real nullities as President.
Besides, it's a testament to how old I'm getting that my lifetime = nearly 1/4 of the nation's history. Man! How'd that happen so fast.

5. Yes, Bush is a big Null Set in the "person" department.
But OBama doesn't need to say it. Everyone already knows it. Or mostly everyone, anyways.

Barbra Streisand must have felt sorry for him last night. That's the only explanation that I have for "the kiss".

7. Gerald Ford was wrong. That's where the nightmare began.
Leslie Lynch King wasn't too interesting either, after the quid pro quo.
