OK, I've lived in Wisconsin for a couple years. Joe McCarthy was from Wisconsin... I hang my head in shame.

Before that, I lived in California. So I guess I should apologize for Ronald Reagan.

Then before that was New Orleans... hence my deep apologies for David Duke.

Having lived in NYC before that, Son of Sam is enough reason for me to feel like a vile person.

Before that, it was Philadelphia... me and Frank Rizzo... oh, boy, I thought you'd never ask... again, shame on me.

Then there is Delaware. OK, I guess I should apologize for the DuPont company... they invented plastic!

Ah... I feel better now. I would assume the people of Illinois and particularly the citizens of Chicago can see that we are guilty by proxy for the locations we live in.

As an exercise, perhaps other DUers can express their shame for their location and the evil spawn that they are somehow indirectly responsible for...
