1. Good, and he should resign. The LT. Gov seems like a good guy.

Blago should not be allowed to be gov anymore.

3. The news will probably report it either as Obama pandering, or Obama getting even because Blago
called him names :eyes:

9. Blagojevich can't govern now.
The business of this state will grind to a halt. Nothing will get done.

Not that much was getting done before this...

I applaud Obama for this statement.

12. Obama did the right thing here.
I also think it is more evidence that he is not involved in wrong doing as Blago is a vindictive jerk and will probably be lashing out at everyone.

10. right
Or say that it was because the RNC chair said his original statement was "insufficient"...even though it's pretty much what Palin did with Stevens, said at first that she was monitoring the situation (and this was when he was conVICTED, yes?) and then later said he should resign.

6. Yes. it was obvious he should be doing just that...advocating a resignation
even though the man is not yet convicted.

But the evidence is compelling

and Blago made it worse when he referred to Obama as ...." Fuck him...."

This is Good...the system cannot have these kinds of assholes tainting it...

Obama is the disinfectant at the TOP...

7. This should show people that Blagojevich doesn't have anything on Obama. If he DID, Obama would
never call on him to resign, fearing he could "sing like a bird" to Fitzgerald.

14. Especially since the FBI wiretaps would probably back up Obama's statement that he didn't talk to
the Gov since Election Day.

In addition, the Governor was one just a few few Democratic politicians, former or current, Senator, US Rep, Veep, Prez, or Governor, that DID NOT speak at the DNC Convention. Obama didn't want him there. The Democratic Governor of his home state! Guess he had a good reason why.

15. Exactly...
Let's see if this shuts up people who think Obama was involved.

13. I knew he would. Yesterday would have seemed like piling on.
Lt. Gov. Quinn, Sen. Durbin, and various state legislators were making their own remarks yesterday.

Today, the PE is exhibiting his leadership and very professionally telling Obama to F- himself, thanks.
