MSNBC anchor vs. Mark Sanford
The MSNBC anchor asked him how he could oppose the bailout, since many believe people will no longer buy cars from bankrupt companies. Sanford said that the history of bankruptcy indicates that people will still continue to buy from a bankrupt company. After all, people still bought United Airlines plane tickets after they went bankrupt. The anchor interrupted him and asked how he could compare a 300 dollar short term fee to a 30,000 long term investment.

First, Sanford had a deer-in-the-headlights look. Then, he actually said... that business class tickets on United Airlines actually cost closer to 3,000, and that was how they were comparable.

1. Sanford is kind of an easy target.
Shuster made Sanford look like an ass the other day too (I mean, not that it's difficult, heh). Twas enjoyable.
