About Bob Greenlee and Deputy Gov's in Illinois
First of all Bob Greenlee is a good kid, I when I say kid I mean early 30's U of C law school grad. When I worked for the administration he was a leading official in the Office of Management and Budget. He was promoted to be one of 2 Deputy Governors in June of this year. He replaced Shelia Nix and served alongside Louanner Peters. A 3rd Deputy Governor, Dean Martinez, was added last week. I'm friendly with all of them.

In Rod's first term his deputy Governor was Bradley Tusk, who was another U of C law school grad. He was considered to be the best young political strategists in the country. Prior to joining Rod's administration he served on Chuck Schummer's staff and Mike Bloomberg's staff. As is the case he left at the end of the first term to move to NYC and work for Lehman Brothers. He was arrogant but brilliant.
