Democrats have to prove their innocence of any batshit slur the right comes up with (remember the witchhunt of Clinton?) and even if the allegations are complete lies, the media will still repeat them endlessly (see "Blinded By The Rights" and the Swift Boat Vets). If you're a Republican, you almost always get the benefit of the doubt.

Too bleary eyed to see who was doing the talking but first thing out her mouth was Obama will have to take questions from the press regarding the Blago situation.

Her co-anchor enthusiastically agreed with her when he should have said "WHY should he? It's obvious from Blago's taped responses that Obama was not interested in "playing ball"."

saying that Blago and Jackson, Jr. are obviously knee-deep in corruption as a segue to Obama is tainted. I forget the name of the woman Chetry was speaking to, but she called Chetry on her accusation and Chetry pulled it way back.

I wish I had a clip of that exchange it was unbelievable.
