Didn't Jesse Jackson, Jr. have an hour-half meeting with Blago a few days ago?

regarding his qualifications for the senate seat? if so, that meeting should be on tape, wouldn't it? I would think that one of the first things Blago would have asked him is, "What can you do for me? if I appoint you?" so it seems to me that JJJ could easily be exonerated if he didn't say anything out of the way. I have to think that JJJ knows this and so that is another reason for his very outspoken statement today.

1. JJJ got a call from the FBI the day before Blago was busted telling him what was about to go down.

I don't think JJJ is really worried about any legal trouble, just his political future due to the all out attack the media has waged against him.

The news that Blago was being taped broke Friday. As noted in paragraph 115c of the complaint, on Friday Blago asked Fundraiser A to undo attempted extortion of Individual D relative to Candidate 5.
