I didn't get a chance to post this and forgive me if someone else already has. Peoples' teeth are shattering at an alarming rate...

She had this 'earnest' Rethug on today- you all know the type: "I'm more than willing to give Obama a chance to defend himself here..." At one point he said that Obama and Blago were "friends" and Ms. Hall stepped right in - I'm paraphrasing but not by much: "Excuse me, but I covered Chicago politics for 10 years and there is no way that you could characterize their relationship as that of 'friends'" Or words to that effect. Mr Rethug tried and tried to stammer his way our of it but it didn't work...not in the least. She gave no quarter, IMO.

On edit: she also stopped him from saying that they lived in the same neighborhood: she said, "they live across town from each other." Caught this MFer in anoter lie.

I give her credit for calling him out on this newest meme.

I usually really like David Shuster, but I had to turn him off on 1600 Pa Ave just now, he was getting just a bit too Nancy Drew and paranoid for me. He had a "David's notebook", with all these different scenarios and possibilities. Michael Isikoff, John Harwood, Lawrence O'Donnell, and Joan Walsh ALL told him that certain things he was saying weren't making sense, and he got really defensive and said "What's wrong with us trying to figure this out while the questions remain unanswered!" But some of the scenarios were just not possibilities, like Jarrett being referred to as candidate one but being referred to as a "Washington advisor" on a conference call with Bago (in the same document). And did Bago and Obama actually meet on November 5th (Shuster said again they did)? I thought the place that reported it had to take it back the other day, not sure.

4. She is not the only one from Chicago.
There are a couple of others, but I can't remember who they are.

I hope they all dump cold water on these people.

5. I saw that segment and agree that she was great.
Our side is fortunate that she knows Chicago, otherwise the Repuke would have gotten away with the smears.

6. I caught that, too.
Good for her.

She flat interrupted that lying GOP hack and set him on his heels.
