Election day is tomorrow!
Tomorrow the electors will meet in each the 50 state capitals and in the District of Columbia to cast their vote for president and vice president. I am fairly sure that the states all release the results immediately. This will mean that all the moronic, imbecilic, self-proclaimed constitutional "experts" who question whether President Elect Obama is a natural born citizen may crawl back into the holes from whence they came.

1. Since electors are not bound to vote for anyone,
do you think there will be any defectors this time around? I'm thinking some elector from one of the red states might vote Bob Barr instead of McCain in protest of McCain's remarks on Obama not being part of the Blagojavich scandal.

2. I agree. I think McCain will probably see a defector.
Electors tend to be hardcore and those types don't like McCain much.

3. Actually, they are bound by law in around half of the states
I researched this when the morons started writing the electors. They are asking them to break the law. Of course, the morons answer is that they have to follow the Constitution over the law. I am not sure what the penalty is in these states. I think it is probably a fine or something.
